A semi-spherical hollow fitting with the remains of a tang which may have fixed it to the leather of a strap or belt.
The fitting is silver. There are no firm diagnostic elements to this object which appears, however, to be pre-industrial and probably dates from the fifteenth to the seventeenth centuries.
Dimensions: diameter 11 mm.

In terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
