Cast cu-alloy rumbler or crotal bell, probably dating to the medieval or post-medieval period. The bell is intact and although filled with soil (the find was recorded at a rally and seen in its uncleaned state), probably complete with iron pea still inside. It has two sound holes in the top hemisphere and two further sound holes which are connected by a slit in the bottom hemisphere. At the top of the top half is a small square loop for suspension off a belt or strap.
