Complete leg from a copper-alloy vessel. The curved top with broken edges forms the remains of the body of the vessel; below, the leg is triangular in section and tapers to an out-turned foot which has two extra facets. There is a ridge across the 'ankle' between the leg and the foot. The leg is 73 mm long and measures approximately 15 x 22 mm at the top. This type of leg was used on small skillets (cooking vessels with long handles) and on ewers (water jugs).
