Possible fragment of a Romano-British lock-bolt, incomplete walled rectangle with one end broken and the other end and side with remains of right-angled walls. A fragmentary rectangular projection springs from the surviving end. The face of the 'box' has traces of symmetrical counter-relief decoration. >20 x 13mm, >7mm deep. See Crummy (1983) fig.136.
