Date: Late 14th-15th century

Circular silver-gilt pendant reliquary. The central roundel engraved on one side with the Holy Trigram IHC; the reverse engraved with the Marian monogram, each against a cross-hatched ground. Originally three loops for suspension; only the central loop survives.

Dimensions: Diameter: 19mm, Height (with loop):23mm


The find therefore qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 in terms of both age and precious metal content and should go forward to inquest.
