Copper-alloy annular brooch. Circular and 20.5 mm in diameter, it is rectangular in cross-section (3.5 x 1.5 mm). One face is decorated with an engraved black-letter inscription. There is a pin constriction on which the loop of a copper-alloy pin survives, and opposite this a shallow grooved pin rest. The inscription is difficult to read, but starts domine ne. It can be completely reconstructed with the help of the very similar SF-52ADB1 as domine ne [pin rest] in furore tu[o] (O Lord, do not rebuke me in thine anger).

Another similar example is recorded on th PAS database (LON-D6A623). The text is the opening line of both Psalm 6 and Psalm 38.

Class: annular
Inscription: domine ne in furore tum
