Very small fragment of cast cu-alloy buckle frame. It comes from a shoe buckle with drilled frame for a separate spindle; the fragment is from the upper or lower frame/spindle junction and thickens where the spindle would have been set within the frame. Remains of moulded floral decoration visible on the obverse of the fragment.
