A copper-alloy Roman probable double ended suspension loop probably associated with a cosmetic or toilet set. Consisting of one piece of copper-alloy wire both ends are folded over to form loops, one of which is larger than the other and has a break in it, this larger loop also has a flattened section. The smaller loop has traces of iron staining adhering to it. The terminals of the wire are wrapped around its shaft. This object could have possibly worked by being suspended from a belt with a cosmetic set suspended from its other end. The object measures 55.78mm in length and 13.02mm in width, across the larger loop and 6.36mm in width across the smaller loop. This object was found in the same area as another possible double ended suspension device, see SF-8BE944.
