A Medieval pendant cross, with a central sexfoil collet, now missing its stone. The arms of the cross carry an inscription. Along the vertical arms are the letters
"+IESVSN"
and along the horizontal arms
"AZAREN"
Taken together, these read
"+IESVS NAZAREN"
(Jesus of Nazareth)
The cross is silver and dates from the fourteenth century.

Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
