Obverse description: Bust facing, crowned and with sceptre. Triangular face. Five large pearls to the crown band, three curls (each enclosing a pellet) on either side of the head.
Obverse inscription: HENRICVS REX. Letter X with rounded ends, elaborate "C" and "E" (see North, 1994 (vol 2), p219, figures 36, 28, and 11). Elaborate R (similar to Wren 1992, p 58, but appears to have trifoliate terminal to the leg of the R.
Reverse description: Short cross voided with quatrefoil in each angle
Reverse inscription: RAVF ON LVNDE. Pellet either side of ON
Initial mark: Cross pattee on reverse
Die axis measurement: 12 o'clock
Degree of wear: Hardly worn: extremely fine
