A complete silver penny of Edward I (1272-1307) or Edward II (1307-1327). Berwick-Upon Tweed Mint,. Class 4c (c.1300-c.1310) (North reference N1080). The coins minted at Berwick-Upon Tweed, 1296-1318 and 1333-1344, whilst being the same types as the English coins, do not fall into the same classes as most are from locally made dies (North, 1991, vol 2, p 38).
