UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT

Unique ID: SF5768

Object type certainty: Certain

Lead star of six points. Each point is triangular in section and slightly curved; some are shorter than others. The reverse is very smooth but not completely flat. Maximum dimension, 22 mm. 3 mm thick. Weight 3.56g. The function of these stars is uncertain. Larger ones are thought to have been set in plaster as ceiling or wall decorations; these are occasionally found gilded. This one seems a little small for such a use.
