It is irregular and has uneven surfaces, measuring 22.8mm in length, 14.22mm in width, and weighing 9.96g Other fragments have been found associated with Anglo-Saxon long brooches and other artefacts suggesting a cemetery site in this area, for example YAX SF-3CEB56.
