Six lead alloy tokens found in the same field. They probably date from the late medieval or early post medieval period. There are all circular or sub-circular. 1) Uni-face design of a long cross in relief and a raised rim. White patina. 19.1mm diameter, 1.8mm thick. 2) Slightly oval shape. Uni-face design of a raised central pellet surrounded by a raised circle and a raised rim. Crack across the face. Grey patina. 21mm diameter, 1.6mm thick. 3) Uni-face design of a waffle pattern dividing the token into nine parts. The token has been sharply bent. Light grey patina. 21.3mm diameter, 2.6mm thick. 4) Uni-face design of a long cross with a pellet in each angle and a raised rim. The front of the token is slightly domed. Very neatly made. Dark grey patina. 16.3mm diameter, 5.2mm thick. 5) Uni-face design of a cross with flared arms and a raised circle at the centre. Could represent a windmill. One edge of the token is missing. Damage to the other edges. Creamy yellow patina. 19.8mm diameter, 3.5mm thick. 6) Circular. Probable uni-face design of an R, possibly crowned, above “H A”. The middle third (vertically) of the token is raised. Rough edges and reverse. 23.8mm diameter, 3.8mm thick.
