A flint borer of probable Bronze Age date. Part of a large assemblage of Mesolithic to Bronze Age flintwork*. The tool is crudely made and irregular in form. It is of sub-triangular section and tapers to a point at the end. The flake removal scars are multi-directional. The flint is mid grey in colour. The artefact measures 95.5mm long, 26.4mm wide and 23.7mm thick.
