Medieval hooked copper alloy bar mount from harness, corroded, D-sectioned bar with transverse rib pierced by dome-headed rivet near bent springing of large hook at one end, other end with opposed cusped mouldings before perforated terminal with elongated projecting knop. 55 x 7mm. 13th-14th century.
