Post Medieval (1600-1700AD) cast copper alloy double loop buckle with trapezoid frame. The strap bar has a projecting knop at each end. The outer edges of the frame are expanded forming a slightly rounded triangular point with a central incised groove. Each corner of the frame has has a semi-circular knop. The pin is still attached. The buckle has an even mid green patina. The frame is 33.81mm long, 22.38mm wide, 2.15mm thick and weighs 5.4 grams.
