Small un-diagnostic sherd of a late medieval glazed vessel (1400-1600 AD). The sherd is from the body of a vessel but not enough survives to ascertain the style profile size or shape of the vessel. The fabric is a relatively soft fired earthen ware with a number of small angular and sub-angular grit, quartz and iron stone inclusions. The fabric is also mica rich. The outer face of the sherd has been glazed with a mottled mid green brown coloured glaze which has decayed and is laminating The breaks are all worn and abraded. The sherd measures 12.1mm in length, 17.1mm high, is 5.9mm thick and weighs 1.46 grams
