Post Medieval cast copper-alloy asymmetrical buckle frame. The frame has one rectangular and one D shaped loop. About 20% of the rectangular loop is missing to a break. The D-shaped loop has a groove along the outer edge creating a thinned border. At the centre of the D shaped loop the inner side projects inwards in a point forming a wider area. The strap bar is narrowed. The pin is missing.
Whitehead (2003:91) illustrates a similar example, no.570, without the groove on the D-shaped loop, which he dates to c. AD 1575-1700.
