Two large corroded iron nails. The first has a flat sub-rectangular head with a sharply tapered shaft. Dimensions are 62.5 x 36.9 x 26.6mm, weighing 58.74g. The shaft is sub-rectangular in section, tapering from 21.2 to 7.4mm wide and 14.6 to 4.2mm thick (head to tip). The shaft is slightly bent or hooked. The second has a flat rounded/oval head, which is incomplete due to corrosion and damage. The shaft is subrectangular in section, and tapers very little (widening slightly where it joins the head). Dimensions are 76.1 x 45.7 x 37.5mm, weighing 51.61g. Both nails are probably later medieval or post medieval.
