Six thick-walled pottery sherds of probable late Iron Age date. Five of the six body sherds have reduced light to mid grey cores with oxidised ornage/buff layers adjacent to the more reduced buff/grey surfaces. The other sherd is more comprehensively reduced. The fabric is coarse with moderate red and black iron oxide (<1mm), rare grog (up to 2mm) and rare white inclusions, possibly limestone (up to 2mm). These sherds are likely to have formed part of large thick-walled storage jars and the curvature on one sherds suggests a rolled rim. Total weight: 199g
