Cast cu-alloy heart-shaped brooch dating from the Medieval period, probably 13th or 14th century. It is of a simple, flat, slightly assymmetrical heart-shape and its pin is missing. The pin rest is indicated by two small spikes and a plain, undecorated, slightly narrowed area at the 'centre top' of the heart. The obverse of what remains of the frame, however, is decorated with simple short grooves, radiating outwards.
