A cast copper alloy pin, dating to the Roman period. The pin has a rounded head with a flat base, which then tapers underneath into a narrow pin shaft. The shaft is swollen part the way down. The head is undecorated. The shaft is bent. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and the original patina survives and is smooth, but quite pitted.
