Roman ceramic vessel sherd comprising of: 1 body sherd. Possible Oxfordshire colour-coated ware, probable Nene Valley Ware. White fabric with pink-red slip and rouletted incised design. No notable inclusions. Total Weight: 3.5g Theses items were found in association with other Roman pottery finds and the overall assemblage dates from late 1st to 4th century AD with the vast majority falling into the period mid 3rd to 4th century. The Mortaria have been dated c.240-400 AD.
