A medieval copper-alloy probable pendant suspension mount, broken, now 38.7mm in length and 38.2mm wide. The mount is flat but bent - the upper half has a shallow, u-shaped notch at the end and there is also a small, broken piece of metal protruding from the side of the upper end. Either side of the bend, the front of the mount is mostly rectangular, with straight, parallel sides. The parallel-sided front continues below the bend to a pair of u-shaped notches on either side and a narrow incised line runs across the front of the mount, joining the two notches. The stretch of the mount beyond the notches has slightly curved sides and has a small, circular hole in the centre; the front of the mount then narrows to a curved point. The reverse of the mount is flat and undecorated. The front of the mount is mostly dull brown/green, while the reverse of the mount is a mottled pale green.
