An ovate implement of knapped flint; possibly an unfinished or rudimentary Palaeolithic handaxe. The edges have certainly been worked, and there is evidence of retouch, but the body of the implement bears few signs of working, and it seems to have been heavily rolled, so that the number of flake scars is unclear.
