Lithic implements 1) Six blades. Average size length 25mm, width 12mm, thickness 3mm. Two have one arise on the dorsal, the other four have two arises, only two retain the bulb on the ventral. Four have been truncated resulting in the loss of the Proximal end. Two have retouch down one side. Five have a light greyish brown flint, one is a dark greyish brown flint, all have a creamy patina forming. These artefacts date to the Late Mesolithic-Early Neolithic. 2) Two notched pieces. Average size length 29mm, width 15mm, thickness 5mm. Both have one arise on the dorsal and a sort hammered bulb on the ventral. Both have short, inverse, semi-abrupt retouch on one side that forms a concave working edge. Both are mid grey flints with a patina forming, the patina is darker on one. These artefacts date to the Neolithic-Early Bronze Age. 3) Miscellaneous retouched piece. Length 23mm, width 18mm, thickness 3mm. Two arises on the dorsal, the bulb is missing from the ventral, retouch on the left edge with short, low angled, inverse flaking scars. Mid grey flint with a creamy patina forming, this artefact probably dates to the Neolithic. 4) Three scrapers. Two are semicircular scrapers, average size length 29mm, width 22mm, thickness 9mm. Semi-abrupt, sub-parallel, direct retouch along the forward edge. One has a creamy patina, the other is a brown flint with a patina forming and has heavy frost damage on the dorsal and ventral sides, these artefacts date to the Neolithic. One side scraper length 22mm, width 16mm, thickness 4mm. Semi-abrupt, sub-parallel, direct retouch don on side. dark grey flint with a patina forming. This artefact dates to the Neolithic to Bronze Age. 5) Core rejuvenation flake. Multiple flaking scars taken from one direction, prepared striking platform on the top. Dark grey colour with lighter mottling, creamy patina forming, 20% cortex to the rear. Date Mesolithic-Early Neolithic. 6) Eleven waste flakes (not photographed) 16, Three secondary flakes. All have a light greyish creamy patina, and all have less then 50% cortex remaining. Date Prehistoric. These are waste flakes from the manufacturing process. 17, Eight tertiary flakes, Most are grey flints with a creamy patina forming. Date prehistoric. These are waste flakes from the manufacturing process.
