Copper alloy brooch, Hod Hill type with side projections at base of upper bow. Missing pin, foot, catchplate, and extremely abraded around margins. Large centre rib on upper bow, widens to small (?) side knobs. Cross groove and rib at top of lower bow which is flat, ?plain, and now tapers sharply to a point. Surviving length 26mm. Broadly similar to Hattatt no.314.
