A bronze (copper-alloy) pot leg from a large cooking or storage vessel, dating from the late medieval to post-medieval period (circa 1350 - 1850). The fragment may have been part of a cauldron or similar large vessel. The leg tapers to the foot, with a triangular section. The front of the leg is formed from three lobes. The central one is decorated with horizontal ridges. The foot is missing. Where the leg would have been attached to the vessel, the break is worn and corroded. The reverse of the leg is flat. The leg is a mid greenish-brown colour, but the surface is heavily pitted and very corroded.
