Late Roman pottery vessel sherd, dating from 270-400AD. The sherd is part of a rim from a wheel thrown flanged bowl of grey ware with sand and dispursed small flint inclusions. The breaks are old and worn. The sherd is sub-triangular in cross section. It is 41.10mm long, 22.09mm wide and 13.81mm thick. It weighs 13.97 grams.
