Incomplete Medieval copper alloy sword quillons (approximately half surviving), short with slight down-curve and very slightly expanded terminal, rectangular-sectioned, broken across the perforation for the tang. The surviving end of the aperture is a pointed-oval on the lower face to accommodate the blade and has a straight offset of 12mm (of half thickness, 5mm) on the upper or hilt face. Cf. LMMC, Fig.4, no.2. 13th century.
