A complete cast lead token, probably dating to the Post Medieval period, between AD 1600 - 1700 (diameter: 20.5mm; thickness: 2.5mm; weight: 6.5g).
The token is circular in plan and flat in section. On one side of the artefact, it is decorated with an irregularly shaped six-armed star or sexfoil. On the opposing side, although worn, it is possible there may be further decoration in the form of a linear design. The remains of one slightly raised line are all that remains on this side. Additionally, there is a slightly raised lip or rim running around the circumference of the outside edge on this side of the token. There is no other decoration on the token. Overall, the artefact is in a worn and poor condition.
