A Late Bronze Age casting jet with a single feeder. The upper edge is mostly rounded, but has an uneven surface with two air bubbles burst. There are casting sprues intact on both sides, but the most prominent is at the top. The sides taper to the rounded lower edge, but with no traces of the runner extending further. It is 35.25mm long, the diameter at the top is 29mm and it weighs 75g.
Notes:
Found by a detectorist in 7th Feb 1981. No other contextual information is available regarding the location of the findspot. The collection was handed to an amateur archaeologist as the finder moved abroad.
