A fragment of a cast copper alloy dress-hook or hooked tag. The object consists of a circular plate with openwork, moulded decoration. The hook and loop have broken off, all breaks are worn. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The decoration on the plate features a cross, with fleur-de-lis terminals and a pellet in the centre. Holes have been drilled or partically drilled into the copper alloy to make it openwork. The plate has a raised rim. The surface is light reddish-brown. This artefact is late medieval to early post-medieval in date.
