An iron ox shoe (probably). The shoe is likely to date from the late medieval period, but could be early post-medieval in date. Only part of the shoe survives, suggesting that it could be a part shoe (made in two halves for a cloven-hoof animal such as oxen. Five small countersunk nail holes remain, but no nails. The shoe has a sinuous edge (curvy).
