A thick tertiary flint waste flake of probable Neolithic or early Bronze Age date. At the proximal end is the striking platform and below this on the ventral surface is a slight bulb of percussion and a marked bulbar scar. Faint ripples radiate down the ventral surface. The flakes which have been removed from the dorsal surface suggest that it may be a core rejuvenation flake. The orange and greyish-white flint has a mid-gloss patina.
