A cast copper alloy possible finger ring or mount. The object has a large oval element which has a concave reverse, with a large circular piercing, diameter 3.28mm, at the centre. This tapers sharply at the side to the form a hoop or hook, which is bent behind the oval element and terminates with a worn break. It is rectangular in section. The oval element retains traces of a black laquer coating. The metal surface is worn with a mid brownish green patina. The object is post medieval in date.
