A cast copper alloy sewing ring. The object is similar to a thimble, without the apex. The indentations are circular and have been arranged in a spiral; several have worn all the way through the sides. The base is slightly thickened but there is no defined rim. The diameter at the base is 21.67mm tapering to 18.49mm. It is worn and the metal is a dark greyish-green colour. Parallels can be seen in Egan (2005), p132, fig: 126 ref 648-52.
