Two medieval rim sherds of Minety ware. The larger of the two (70.7x41.8x7.9mm, weighing 35.07g, estimated original rim diameter 200mm) has a thumbprint depression on the body, visible on the reverse as a small bump. The neck is 13mm tall. The smaller sherd measures 47x21.7x8mm and weighs 16.02g. The rim would have been much wider, c.360mm diameter. The fabric is pinky/ orange on the outside surface with numerous white inclusions. The colour on the inside surface is black. The collectively weigh 51.09g. 13th century probably.
