Copper alloy brooch, Hattatt's Wing-and-fanbow humped type. Missing spring and pin, otherwise in good condition. Plain arms, small neat rear hook. Corrosion on back of arms, both sides of the centre, possibly due to solder from the spring. Angular humped bow with mouldings. Flat fantail with notched grooves. Traces of white metal on the bow front. Width 21mm, length 40mm. Relatively uncommon, probably East Anglian type, discussed by Hattatt 1989 pp44-45 as derived from the Aesica type.
