Copper alloy buckle dating from the Medieval period. A complete copper alloy circular buckle. The pin is made from one strip of copper alloy which is hooked over the frame. The pin is sub-rectangular in section and has some incised lines as decoration near the hooked end . Similar examples can be seen on page 17 of Whitehead (Whitehead 2003).
