Medieval tinned or silvered buckle, most of oval frame missing, integral openwork plate with drilled hole and constriction on bar for D-sectioned pin, two longitudinal perforations between with three circular perforations, that adjacent to pin containing corroded iron rivet, further iron rivet in narrowed foliate terminal, >39 x >12mm. Cf. Whitehead (2003), no.202. 13th-14th century.
