Copper alloy brooch fragment, Colchester derivative hinged type. Upper half only, missing pin, damaged arms. Moulded arms. Flat/slightly convex backed bow; strong centre rib with flute on each side. Surviving width 23mm, surv. length 26mm. A similar fragment from Scole excavations (unpub.) SCL 1007 no. 1119
