Two rim fragments/ sherds of a wheel-thrown ceramic Roman greyware vessel, dating between AD 43-410 (thickness at rim: 15.5mm; thickness at body: 7.5mm; collective weight: 145.67g).

Both rim sherds (that have probably been broken from a large bowl) have an acutely curved rim and neck that is ā€˜Cā€™ shaped in appearance and seem to have originated from the same vessel and have a fairly smooth hard-fired light grey fabric, which contains frequent small grit and quartz inclusions. Overall, both sherds are in a worn but fair condition.
