Incomplete Post Medieval purse bar, short and broad shield-shaped central boss covered in iron corrosion from remains of iron suspension-loop in vertical perforation, one side of oval-sectioned bar ending in irregular globular terminal (diameter 10-12mm) with four curved and oblique radiating grooves, other side of arm missing, stump only. Length >59mm. Cf. LMMC Type B3 (1967, Plate XXXVII, no.4). 16th century.
