Tip of a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead with hard-baked ?clay core in situ (note: similarity of ?clay material with find NMS174). Old break. The flared blade edge is damaged. Reddish-brown patina with circular pitting. Red-coloured corrosion is present over the surface and break. Blade edge is 44mm wide.
