Medieval or post Medieval copper alloy mount fragment, 16mm long, 14mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 0.80grams. The object is roughly V shaped and is decorated on one side with incised cross hatching. It has two circular holes which may be fixing holes. It is plain on its reverse and appears to be incomplete. The shape suggests it is possibly a dress hook?
