One Roman pottery rim and flange sherd from a mortaria (AD 240-300). The mortaria is made from Oxfordshire white ware with multi-coloured quartz grits. The flange is flat and the rim is an angular upstanding bead rim, all conforming to Young M19 3 Dimensions: weight 38.38g. Reference: Young, C.J. Oxfordshire Roman Pottery B.A.R. 43
