Twelve Roman pottery rim, body and base sherds from a necked jar (1st-2nd century). The jar is a coarse grey ware. The matrix is grey and there is a cream slip on the internal and external surfaces. The external surface is decorated with a lattice motif. The fabric is very friable, it has been over-fired and there are soot residues on both the internal and the external surfaces. All the sherds conjoin. Dimensions: weight 267.17g

BERK-1E9030; BERK-1E7A01; BERK-1E66C6; BERK-1E3D75; BERK-1E2655; BERK-1DB2E1 are all found in the same area. These probably represent a kiln site.
