Incomplete Post Medieval tinned dress fastener, bent and corroded oval hooked plate decorated with cast counter-relief foliate design, broken flat-sectioned hook at one end and three projecting attachment-loops around outer edge (one broken), 22 x >43mm. Cf. of broadly similar type in Read (1995) nos.771-2. 16th-17th century.
